Crème & Crumbles · Decadent Cheesecakes

OUR STORY

More than
just cheesecake.

Every cheesecake is really about the moments around it: the birthday candles, the second slices, the conversations that linger long after dessert. A mother’s recipe and a daughter’s vision, shared one slice at a time.

01 · THE RECIPE

Where it all began

Linda has been making cheesecake since her children were little, quietly perfecting the recipe along the way. Over the years, it became a familiar part of family gatherings and special occasions, woven into the memories and traditions that grew around the table.

Some recipes become part of a family’s story. This one became part of theirs, eventually becoming a tradition all its own. Then it became a rule: Linda wasn’t allowed through the door unless she had a cheesecake in her hands.

02 · THE MOMENT

Stop dreaming. Start baking.

For years, Linda quietly dreamed of sharing her cheesecake with more than just her family. But life was full, and her career in the mortgage industry left little room for dreams.

Then, in January 2026, Linda and Nikki were on vacation in Tahoe, sitting together over a slice of cheesecake, when the idea finally clicked. It was time to stop dreaming and start baking.

They started brainstorming names together, and from that little spark, Crème & Crumbles was born.

THE BAKER

Linda

Linda is the heart of Crème & Crumbles, bringing warmth and care to every cheesecake she makes. She lives in Sonoma with her partner, Gary, and is the proud mom of three, grandmother of five, and soon-to-be great-grandmother.

Outside the kitchen, Linda has built a successful career in the mortgage industry, bringing the same dedication and attention to detail to her work that she brings to her baking. At the Sonoma Community Center kitchen, she continues to make every cheesecake by hand, in small batches, using the recipe she knows by heart. For Linda, it’s about more than cheesecake. It’s about the care, tradition, and love that go into every slice.

THE CREATIVE

Nikki

Nikki is the creative force behind Crème & Crumbles, bringing her mom’s cheesecake to life through design, storytelling, and marketing. She lives in Danville with her partner, Mark, and her two teenage daughters.

As a creative director, Nikki has always loved building brands that connect with people. She designed every detail of Crème & Crumbles, from the logo to the website you’re on now, giving Linda’s cheesecake the look and feel it was always meant to have. For Nikki, it’s about more than a brand. It’s about sharing something her family loves with everyone who stops by to say hi.

04 · THE MARKETS

Every market, sold out

They brought their first cheesecakes to the Sonoma and Danville farmers markets not knowing what to expect. They’ve sold out at every single one.

But the best part has never been the empty table at the end of the day. It’s the faces: the closed eyes, the slow smile, the “oh my goodness” after that very first bite.

And then there are the skeptics. Almost every market, someone pauses at the booth and confesses, “I don’t really like cheesecake.” They take a bite anyway. A few steps down the aisle, they stop, turn around, and come right back to take one home. That moment never gets old.

05 · WHY IT MATTERS

So much more than food

Starting Crème & Crumbles was never about money. Linda and Nikki simply wanted to do what they love, and they feel so blessed that they get to do it together, as mother and daughter.

Along the way, the emails started arriving, one after another, from people writing just to say how incredible they think the cheesecake is. Every single one means the world to them.

And some stay with them forever. One person wrote about a beloved uncle who, after a stroke, hadn’t eaten real food in two years, nothing but baby food. He tried a Crème & Crumbles cheesecake for the first time, and his wife cried watching his reaction. Reading it brought tears to Linda and Nikki’s eyes, too.

It was a reminder of what this has always been: so much more than cheesecake. It’s the joy in that first bite, the memories made around a table, and the community that has grown around theirs.
